Road worthy

Just got told from the guy doing my road worthy that I need a rear reflector and an indicator tell sign, like a visual sign that they are on. Is this true? This is for a jz

I don't think it does unless it was originally fitted with them.

You need the reflector if you're not using the stock tail light. It has one built in. I think you can have an aural warning for the indicators?

Its the stock tail light so thats good news. My understanding was that the bike was built to comply with the safety standards back then, any safety regulation changes made after that date aren't applicable, I just can't find any evidence to help my case though.

Vicroads have their own standard (on top of the ADR compliance) of what is required to register a vehicle. Vicroads standards say you need an audible or visible indication your blinkers are on.
