    Roadworthy speedo question. (vic)

    hey guys,
    i have a 1975 ct70 which originally had a KPH speedo, i changed to a KO front end and the speedo that came with it is in MPH. I know you can get KPH ones but I'm happy to use my MPH one, does anyone know if this is going to be a roadworthy issue. thanks

    Metrification for Automotive things happened in 1974, but the whole process officially ended in 1988. So short answer is NO you will not have a problem with an MPH speedo.

      The speedo& odometer doesn't have to work prior to 1988

          Yes it's true. My days in Adelaide are done. I'll have to bring a bike in for roadworthy in Vic. It'll have a KPH speedo.

              Hey Z50aye!, if your still doing roadworthy inspections i would like to get one done in the near future if possible. There is RWC tester's probably closer to me but it would be good to get a monkey friendly workshop. cheers
