    Removing flywheel inspection cover

Hey all, this is for my XV250 but I'd imagine not too dissimilar to monkeys.

Doing valves on the XV250 and I can get the middle cover off to get socket onto, and turn flywheel. But the cover up top to look for TDC has had a hard life. I tried a few washers to get a snug fit in some vice grips but it's just shaving metal off.

Apart from pulling stator cover off and knocking it out and replacing it - does anyone have any suggestions?

Hmmm, good idea Thomas. I'll give it a go and report back once I've destroyed it!
