    Hi there,

I was re positioning the coil and lead when i noticed the plug lead was moving at the coil.

Unfortunately the lead had broken due to age/brittleness inside the housing where it attaches to the terminal

I cut open the housing to expose the terminal and made a screw on end for the new lead by soldering a screw into a short length of brass tube

I soldered the connection then re sealed the housing with plastic filler and hopefully the coil will still work.

    Cheers.

    Hi there,

Got a few more things done on the NC.

Finished the wiring check and found the blinker relay was bad but apart from that all lights/switches working correctly.

Got the guards painted and fitted.

Fitted the right hand foot peg guard. Still need to make the left side guard and get it painted.

    Cheers.

What C C hasn't mentioned is he's ordered a new side board from Ikea to put in the shed.

    Hi there,

The NC50 is off the side board

    Yep she is a roller.

Just need to fit the speedo ( still waiting for the stickers for it ) and get some oil for the transmission cases.

Hopefully get it started over the weekend.

She sure has changed from when she first arrived!

    Cheers.

    Hi there,

Here is a short video of the NC50 running.

I will get some on board, once she is registered.

Still try to find some mirrors that work and finish the speedo and foot rest cover.

    Cheers.

No good this build. Should have just left it as is.

Those orange foot pegs really worked well.

I'm sure everyone is very envious of your skill and patience. The real question though is.. what are you restoring next? I can't wait!!

    Thanks Dex,

From what i have seen and read online, these things top out anywhere from 25 to 35 mph! Mostly on flat roads with tail wind and a well used engine

Will be interesting to see what is basically a new engine +075 os piston and a bit of tiding of ports etc will do.

    Cheers.

    Thanks Matty,

She sure was a bit special when she first arrived!

Next build will be "BARNY" the 1963 Honda C92 Benly

    Plan is a full Rustoration!

This will be the first time for a rustoration and i am sure there will be challenges along the way.

    Cheers.

Bloody Nora, how long did it take you to notice that!?!??!

This should be a piece of cake though, looks like most of the bits are there. How's he gonna make the badge though????

Peter does not miss a thing hey!

I have been collecting a few of these C92's over the years Diggs, and have a good load of spares to choose bits from.

I was collecting enough to build a CB92 replica which i have started.

When this one came up and i saw how original and complete it was i thought it is too good to break so rusto is the go.

Hey Mate, was rooting around in the garage for some parts and came across this. Sure you'd have one but if you want this one it's yours.
