    restomod Z50A

I've had these two frames for a year or so, collecting other bits in the mean time. I thought I'd better actually make a start on them and stop procrastinating. I've put them in the custom section as, although they'll appear standard, they'll be tweeked to my liking.

They're both relatively good condition, just minor damage. The older one has a couple of cracks, I'll repair and reinforce the sections to help prevent it happening again.

A previous owner has drilled the battery bracket off to repair it. I'll have to fab up a new one as I didn't get that piece.

I got them blasted on friday.

A quick coat of etch prime to stop rust and to help highlight the cracks etc

I haven't done any A's before so I'm finding the differences between models as I go. The fork tops for instance.

Ha ha, neither did I....now I'll have find top for them. Got a headlight for it, they look weird.
I only have enough bits to build one bike, just thought it good idea to do both frames at same time. Even cheaper by the blasters, one bike lot = $75 or both for $100.
When I turned up to pick them up the guy said, "I have one of those", which he did. Stuck at the back of his workshop, painted in just primer. It's a complete bike, he said it runs fine and they scoot around workshop on it occasionally.

Made the frame brace ala Z50Z? Even managed to match the 'bad' honda factory welds......easy for me. ;-)

Yes............no idea. I think one is k0 and the other k2.
One has a tiny headlight and the other is like an m or j1.

Geez I wish, I am in the midst of selling up - not buying more!

I think one of your frames is a US model not a GE

The tail light mount tab on a GE I think is taller than that one.
