Yeah a few of us decided to give Mt glorious a miss and ended up cruising around the city. All good Sam, these things happen. Great turn out

Apologies, thanks for all who turned up though it was a good turn out.
No apologies needed. That is a fun/purpose of a group ride, have fun together, help out each others.

Nice. Did you still cruise around at 80 kph?

Sorry I missed it guys, whipped the Trex back together in the morning and gave it a once over and found this mongrel in the tyre (biggest nail I've ever seen - about 4 inches long!). Didnt have a puncture repair kit. Have one now and will attempt a fix when I can take it for a decent ride to get the repair plug up to temp .
Not having a lot of luck with this thing.

and Sambo, wasnt yours or anyone's fault mate.
And ironing out Gremlins on these cruises are part and parcel. Great chance to chin wag, network, etc

            We did, mate.
Most of the roads we went along were speed limited to 70(at most?) from memory

Thought you have met the other guys that were back there earlier. Me and Jeff were the last back to mt coot that.

You should get the j1 on the road, you won't find such big nail on monkey tyres lol

The little b*stard that stopped me riding on Sunday! I've done a repair but it's a fair way off centre so might not get enough heat up to melt properly. Might just pop a can of MagicTyre in my backpack for a bit!
