Life is too short for cheap carbs...

I received a z50a frame & engine that is still registered as a payment for a build that I did for a friend about a year ago. Over the last year, I have been collecting parts to make it a whole bike again.
The only head start I have done is sandblasted the frame.
Plans aren't set in stone but I will either do an 88 kit & 4 speed manual conversion on the original motor that it is registered with or a Lifan 140. More than likely, I will go with the honda motor because I already have 2 registered bikes with China motors. I am also tossing up the idea of a frame stretch as well.

Stripped the original engine this afternoon. I was surprised to find it in such good nic. Piston looked like new. I'll send the casings off for blasting & order a few bits from Jaimie. I don't have much money at the moment so it's going to have to be a bit of a tigh#ss build.

          thanks Eric.
How did you go in the record heat the other day? 40degree days are normal in Melbourne in summer.

Not much progress on this one this week because I have been busy building another A for a customer.
All I have done in made up a brake pedal mount & welded it to the frame.

OK so I'm an extreme tighta**e. I spent all afternoon making my own tailight bracket so I don't have to lash out my non existent cash to finish building this bike. It's not going to be built the way I would like it because I have to use left over parts but I'll do the best I can to finish it with a limited budget.

Dummied it up on another bike to make sure it sits straight.
