  • Hi!!!

    Hey All,

Thanks to the admin for adding me to the forum.
My name is Dan, I wanted to have a small project to work on and a good mate got me into the monkey z50's.
Was able to get z50jz with compliance plates which was good and would like to restore it to its glory
But the whole forward section of the bike is not original. Photo of the bike below when i bought it. (I know what was the guy thinking right)

I was hoping if anyone has some original parts that you have and you don't need please hit me up.
But to start I was thinking JZ Forks, front wheel, bar bridge, bars, fuel tank.
I have added some photos for your leisure , at the moment its at my mates in melb and he will be sending it up to me in Syd soon. So some photos of the disassembly

I am kinda new to all of this but keen on learning on putting this z50 together.
If you have any recommendations would be great and I'm sure Ill be hitting you guys up in the forum for all my newbish problems.
    Cheers

Depends on if you're going full resto or just mild custom. You could possibly use forks with original size wheel. Or other possible idea is a set of KDF forks. Not brilliant quality but half the price of a second hand set of Honda ones.
    That seat looks soooo comfy.

The seat mounting solution was quite impressive, don't often see ones tools incorporated into a build with such, permanency. Hope you don't mind me posting this HoRuS .
