  • ST70 Barn Find - Greatest Easter So far!!!

So today i heard a rumour from my girlfriends dad of a little mini bike out at a property near theirs, where i'm spending Easter.
Jumped in the car, and went to the property. Went down the back to a semi-caved in shed....the best kind...
Under all the sh*t that was in there, i revealed this.

You have two parts of brain, 'left' and 'right'. In the left side, there's nothing right. In the right side, there's nothing left.

Im going to customise it i think, im a little over sticking by the rules and keeping things 100% original, Hats off to Matty P who broke the world record for replying to a text message as well. I sent a photo to him and it instantly came back with a reply. Reinforcing i should grab it haha

it looks really good, perhaps too good to custom?! i have found the hardest parts to find for my st70K0 are the detachable throttle cable (had to get one made up), the down muffler (had to buy another bike), original fenders (had to source from Europe) and i still don't have the original detachable wiring harness connector. It looks like yours has all of these parts except the front fender. Even the paintwork looks really good in the photo!

                      Haha Dave,
I know i know, but i've had my fil with my original z50m. So im going to remove all these parts and the engine and not touch them, so that one day it can be back to original.

Have the old engine out, and starting the new one to be bolted in and convert to 12v. Can anyone suggest the easiest way to do the complete conversion? So far i have the engine, CDI and Coil.

Are you going to use the original 6v harness or you have a 12v harness? Easier to sort out the harness first before bolt in the engine as all wire connection will be inside frame.

You could just get china copy harness, then it'll be mostly plug in.
Once I thought I was wrong, I was mistaken

Yeah I will definitely wire it first then motor. I think the webike 12 v dax harness is the go. Looks pretty simple.
